Cembrit's Environmental policy
Our Environmental Policy applies to all FLSmidth Group companies and covers environment, energy, health and safety. The FLSmidth Group Environmental Policy entails:
- to comply with statutory regulations and relevant official requirements
- to support the FLSmidth Group's strategy of maximising the use of synergies between companies, also in the area of environment
- to promote sustainable development, manufacture and supply of products, technology and consultancy in all phases, and to introduce environmental management as a dynamic tool in everyday working
- to help our customers achieve their environmental goals
- to make a valuable contribution to social development, nationally and internationally, through our companies and products
- to communicate relevant requirements to our suppliers within the scope of this policy
- to maintain an open and active environmental dialogue with internal and external business partners and stakeholders
- to ensure that our employees are well-trained and motivated so that they support our environmental policy both actively and morally.
Our companies shall set goals and carry out activities that match or outperform the requirements stated in our Environmental Policy.
