Product news: New rough and vibrant facade product
The new facade board Cembrit Patina Rough, with its velvety structured surface, provides a natural and discreet facade with a vivid expression that varies as the light changes during the day.
Cembrit offers new design options with the launch of the Cembrit Patina Rough facade board, as the new product in the Cembrit Patina family.
Cembrit Patina Rough's sandblasted surface appears as if it was formed over time by nature. The appearance of the board will change according to the weather and light - giving the facade a dynamic and visual appeal.
The aim of Cembrit Patina Rough is to open the door for more modern design options. Combining one of Cembrit’s painted facade board or the smooth Patina board with Cembrit Patina Rough will make the facade stand out as a mixed material selection, which is currently one of the biggest design trends. The fact that both products are made of fibre cement is then a major advantage as it will not be necessary to compromise on either the design or the functionality of the material.
The new facade board is protected with an efficient and non-visible surface treatment, that provides high resistance towards wear, moisture and dirt. With this rough surface, minor damage to the facade will be less visible than on painted facade boards.
Cembrit Patina Rough shares the same key benefits as the Cembrit Patina board. The boards are very sturdy - characterized by high strength and durability. In addition, they are virtually maintenance-free, which many builders and homeowners find attractive as it provides benefits to both economy and time.
Cembrit Patina Rough is easy to install, and the edges do not need any sealing which contributes to reducing the time spent on the construction site thus lowering construction costs in general.
